DIONYSUS THEATRE
Dionysus theatre, on the south side of the Acropolis hill, part of the sanctuary of Dionysus the Liberator is considered as the first theatre in the whole world, hosted the City Dionysian the greatest theatrical fest of Athens. Most of ancient Greek tragedies and comedies were written to be performed there.
